Change the Outcome While Being Confident!

On my last post I spoke about my grandchild school and how they were slacking during Black History Month. Well, guess what?
I lit a fire and it’s been ignited on the 9 of February! The class has learned about Amanda Gorman the young lady that performed her Poetry during the inauguration for the first time ever in history, a young black woman!
February 10th the class learned about Wilma Rudolph another young black woman who pave the way for black tracker stars, long jump athletes an opportunity to compete in the Olympics. The ability to travel all over the world and compete from the USA. Oh, guess what ? They didn’t stop there!
On Monday the 13th of February, a video was made and posted ! The video displayed various historical black activist who paved the way for us. I saw Sojourner Truth, Medgar Evers, President Barack Obama., Thurgood Marshall, Frederick Douglass, Jackie Robinson, Rosa Parks, Colin Powell, Althea, Gibson, Martin Luther King Jr. George Washington Carver, and Nelson Mandela, individual posters.

I speak loud! If you want change you must be the change to command respect for change!
